HAPPINESS IS A HOT (AND COLD) SPONGE

The museography for the inaugural exhibition of Archivo Diseño y Arquitectura, curated by Guillermo Santamarina, was designed to be produced using very simple elements: concrete cylinders organized into different groups, from 4 stacked cylinders to 12 cylinders on the floor. Each group of cylinders supported a board, of varying diameter, on which the exhibited objects were placed. The three types of wood used for the boards reflected the curator’s classification of the objects.
The grid of cylinders mimicked the concrete pillars of the space, creating a heterogeneous forest.
