Mooni Art Gallery

Mooni Art Gallery invited us to create a space as fresh and dynamic as the work it houses, representing over 150 artists from across Mexico and Latin America. The site’s long, linear footprint guided us to embrace its full width and flood the space with natural light from the skylights above, opening and softening the space. Toward the back, we introduced site-specific concrete furniture that blends with the architecture rather than competing with the artwork. Located in the heart of Mexico City’s Roma neighborhood, the gallery spotlights early-career artists, connecting them with art lovers and collectors alike. As they put it, Mooni is “an exhibition space that is breaking the rules through an inclusive, disruptive and forceful sample of contemporary art.”
