The project for the photography section of the 25th edition of the ArteBa Fair aimed to explore the concept of panopticon. The curatorial proposal wanted to connect the work of six artists with a documentary archive. So we arranged the stands of the six invited galleries forming a circle whose center was a large display case that housed the archival material. From this central position one could observed at the same time, the work of each of the participating artists.
We intended to break with the repetitive orthogonality that characterizes contemporary art fairs. Using the same constructive elements, wooden screens and aluminum structure, a specific spatiality was achieved that reinforced the curatorial project.
