Atlixco dining table
The Atlixco set is part of a series of dining rooms that explore the interaction of pieces of furniture with each other and with the user. It is industrial design conceived as architecture.
When the dining room is active, the pieces are separated from each other and when it rests, the six chairs tongue-and-groove with the table, creating a perfect circumference. When the parts come together, the circle is complete.
Atlixco dining room has been made by hand in banak and mdf wood in Mexico City.
